Hey Lovlies!!

This time of the year is my favorite! The weather is amazing all season long!! There's so much to do before the summer heat comes a 🥵 blazing!!

🍷Wine is the perfect pairing for every event and activity this Spring! 🌷Whether it's indoors or outdoors, a glass of wine is sure to make things even more enjoyable.

Here are 🌺 5 Spring activities 🌼 I recommend doing this season (along with my wine pairing suggestions):

1. 🌦️ Enjoy a glass of Riesling after an April rain shower. I love having a glass of wine on my balcony when it's raining 🌧️ . Did you know that the aromas of certain high end Rieslings have a similar smell to rainwater?!

💟Wine Recommendation: PARRA WINE CO. 2021 ROJAS-MARTINEZ VINEYARD WILLAMETTE VALLEY OREGON RIESLING [BUY NOW]

🌬️Tasting Notes: This dry Riesling entices with flavors of 🍏Granny Smith apples, 🍑apricot, and 🍐🍐Bartlett pear, and ends with a slightly 🫧mineral finish.

2. There's nothing better than getting Touchy-Feely while on a romantic picnic! Pack a 🧺basket of your 🥗favorite salad with goat cheese, grilled 🥙vegetables, or empanadas.

💟Wine Recommendation: THE FARM WINERY 2018 TOUCHY-FEELY ADELAIDA DISTRICT PASO ROBLES GRENACHE [BUY NOW]

🌬️Tasting Notes: This brilliant and attractive 🍷ruby red blend offers fragrant aromas of ripe, soft raspberry, 🍒cherry, black currant and 🥤cola. With a full-bodied palette, this wine has expressive flavors of 🍓berry preserves, spice, and 🍒cherries with an effortlessly integrated acidity. It has a lovely, velvety frame with fine-grained silky texture.

3. Fire up 🔥 the grill for a BBQ 🍗!! The best thing about a barbecue is that you can take the grill anywhere you want to go. Whether it's at the 🏖️beach, a 🏞️park, a 🛥️marina, a 🏡backyard, or a 🏙️rooftop pool-you're going to enjoy that 💨breezy spring weather! Enjoy a nice glass of Grenache with some yummy 🍖grilled meats, 🍗smokey barbecue sauces, and 🥙grilled veggies.

💟Wine Recommendation: THE.GRENACHISTA 2019 MOUNTS VINEYARD DRY CREEK VALLEY SONOMA COUNTY GRENACHE NOIR [BUY NOW]

🌬️Tasting Notes: Opens with black plum and 🍓strawberry. Then a wonderful thing happens: The fruit fades leaving 🫙white pepper and cedar. It’s like a Gigondas Grenache! On the palate, the 🍓strawberry shines, followed by garrigue and 🫙spice. With an angular acid backbone and strong, grippy tannin, it’s a Grenache Noir for Pinot Noir lovers.

4. 🧹The Château Spring Cleaning👀!! It's that time of the year to do some 🪣deep cleaning and reorganizing! I always like to put a twist on the dreaded housecleaning. Brush up on your 🇫🇷French, pull out that sexy little 👯‍♂️housekeeping outfit and grab a 🍷glass of wine!!!

💟Wine Recommendation: CHÂTEAU CABEZAC 2019 MINERVOIS FRANCE CARIÑU CARIGNAN [BUY NOW]

🌬️Tasting Notes: On the nose, you’ll find aromas of ripe fruits and 🫒black olives. On the palate, the wine is fleshy and lush with an explosion of black 🍒cherries and wild garrigue 🍃herbs.

5. Relax in a 🛁bubble bath while sipping on some 🥂bubbly!! This is something you should do at least once a week!🗓️

Wine Recommendation: SCHRAMSBERG VINEYARDS 2019 BLANC DE BLANCS NORTH COAST BRUT SPARKLING WINE [BUY NOW]

Tasting Notes: “The 2019 Blanc de Blancs has lifted aromas of fresh 🍏Granny Smith apple, 🍋lemon-lime and 🥖fresh baked bread, intermingled with hints of baked 🍍pineapple and toasted 🥜almonds. Its vibrant flavors of Meyer 🍋lemon and tart🍎 apple bring drive to the mid-palate, leading to a clean, palate-cleansing finish.” –Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and Hugh Davies

If you're looking for more wine suggestions, recipes, and tips I definitely recommend joining The California Wine Club . You can shop their individual bottles, pre-selected cases, and also join their club for hand-selected wines.

What makes The California Wine Club different from other wine clubs?

They personally visit each winery, meet the families, the winemakers and then select two bottles of their best. You can be assured that every wine comes from a small, real-working winery. They only feature wines in their wine club that they would serve in their home to family and friends.

Cheers to some wonderful Springtime fun!! 🍷🍷
